Hey @utopiah nice to meet you!
I'm a fellow VR developer in Brussels too :) Let's share what awesome things we do.
@utopiah Looks promising! We really should have that coffee.
My PhD is about CUDA porting of linear solvers for differential equations (mainly for simulations).
The thing is: I guess that it is not applicable to real-time contexts.
@abde it might not be and simulations are not my expertise (as you can see ;) yet I feel that there is something to explore. I'm particularly interested in caching/sharding/etc and multi-scale simulations but I'm aware it doesn't apply to all problems, if not just to toy problems. Anyway happy to get corrected so that I can learn!
PS: you might find https://www.siml.ai interesting.
@utopiah yes, the world of numerical simulations is really complex, I only grasp one kind of numerical problems and still learning each day.
Thanks for the link and let's keep in touch!
@abde Up to you as long as you can stream the result via HTTP, e.g flat https://observablehq.com/d/b92fecbba00dbe31 with network caching and basic example in XR https://twitter.com/utopiah/status/1533064468292419585
