That's more stalking than love, an unhealthy obsession. But that was a joke anyway — I do not engage in anything like that and I believe no one should.
I don't think that love can hurt the object of your love if it doesn't get out in any way and affect the life of that person — you can always choose it to not cause any harm, unless it's something like the obovementioned unhealthy obsession, in which case you can't choose of course 🤷

@m0xee I'm gonna be vague here, since what inspired this is not my story to tell.
Things not directly counter to love can have dire effects.

One might put 100% into fixing every problem for someone and turn that into quite the harmful activity without ever trying to act against the person. The harm here would be both not trusting that person to fix their own problems and keeping them from getting practice at doing that.

So i agree that planned actions "not getting out" is a way to stop harm, but i think it is astonishing what actions can do harm, even if they look harmless.
