Just had this really awkward experience:
>Riding
#DidneyWorl bus.
>Little girl next to me with a brand new Jesse doll.
>Chatting all about it. I'm entertaining the conversation a bit.
>Start conversing with the parents.
>It becomes clear this is their first trip and that they stretched out some money to get it to last 3 days.
>Kinda feel bad. Try not to let on how much my in-laws have spent on this trip.
>"So, how long have you guys been here this visit?"
>Look around. The in-laws are in earshot.
>"……9 days"
>"Oh, Wow" :sherlock_pog:
>"yeah… we're just…… soakin it up."
So hard to say that without melting down. I hate that my in-laws are spending so much money here. I hate that it's all so expensive. I hate that people think this experience is so valuable.
It's just some moderate rides and a bunch of people in costumes sprinkled with a few firework shows and overpriced food. Don't kill yourselves to get here, people.
