I'm still working on my own dependency, but the way I see it is that the flip side of "give what you can" is "stop what you feel able to stop."

It's a low bar, but any alignment of economic activity with values, rather than price and convenience, is a radical act to be celebrated!

@elizayer It's not about clearing a bar, it's about being who you want to be, as well as you can.
Of course there will be atrocities along the way. Even a homeless person contributes to the climate catastrophy with money they begged for.

The question is only if you try. For me, not using amazon is easy, i hate the general vibe. Would rather not get a thing than go through that gauntlet of payment methods and checks. But i have other failures, like eating meat when it is clearly unethical in the given frame.

What we accomplish cannot define us, as it is clearly a function of where we started. If we try to crawl out of that place or stop caring, that's the question. I see you crawling on, i like you.
