So it turns out that the #OnlineSafetyAct does the thing #Mastodon likes to do of forbidding people from replying to posts that they can see.
There should be a name for this bullshit.

@light I didn't see that on mastodon. I thought one could reply to anything by users not blocking, and if they block their toots are not visible?
@admitsWrongIfProven It may have been a planned feature. I can't remember.
