The eager participation by Disney et al in Trump’s growing repression is the sort of thing that should, but probably won’t, signal to liberals that “capitalism” can’t be part of their conception of a post-Trump American society.

You can have capitalism or you can abolish the material conditions that made Trumpism possible but you can’t do both.

You can have capitalism or you can have democracy but you can’t have both.

Does the definition of "liberal" commonly used in the US even qualify as a definition any more?

Thinking in non-US-terms, liberal would be people that boast personal freedom, but defer to any company.

But what is someone deferring to authority but a fascist minion?
