Ok, listen, if someone wanted to modify a diesel engine to run sideways, how feasible would that be?
Would just a dry sump be enough? Or would you have other issues?

@OpenComputeDesign Ah, on its side is quite different from sideways. My curiosity has been satisfied, but alas, yours will remain. I have no idea if such exist.
@admitsWrongIfProven Yes, because inline engines are tall and narrow, and I have a hypothetical use case that requires an engine be short and wide. Thus, the easiest solution would be to run it on it's side
