@ruemaleficent As a german, interesting perspective. Does this say more about the us being nazi or about me not being a nazi? What's the current exchange here? ^^
Btw, love you and your attitude. No love for nazis.
@ruemaleficent I never did spend time in the US, and i am thankful for that.
What the US usually considers "patriotism" would sound like fascism here. At least until the powers that be establish their current plan :-=
If anyone asks you about democracy, maybe they are asking for help. The state won't help, after all. They just send, full send no help, as i hear.
@ruemaleficent Futurama did have a point, didn't it? Zap Brannigan is exactly what is happening, a long time now. "I sent wave after wave of my own men after the killbots, until they reached their pre-set kill limit."
I'm really sorry for all the soldiers that gave their lives for a sleezebag that is unfulfilled in a valore uniform. Or a rich fucker behind them, whatever.
@admitsWrongIfProven Hah! I think it's both.
and thank you for the comment, usually I get angry men chastizing me for being "too much."
IDK if you've spent any time here in the US but this combination of jingoism, fascism, exceptionalism and patriarchy is a horrible place to live in. Flight attendants will thank any military on board a plane for their service and everyone claps. It's everywhere.
My rant was in reaction to some long meme by some account with the word "democracy" in the title, talking about how the government is screwing up the troops. They're starving, poor, etc.
IDGAF about them. I care about all the folks in oppressed classes being screwed now.
It really just enrages me about this blind support of the US military and utter lack of critical thinking or understanding of what the hell is happening here. It's one of the reasons I can't stand liberals any more than conservatives because they do this b.s. a lot.
