I’m interested in a discussion of the “hide sensitive content” function here. There’s a stronger culture of it on Mastodon than other places, and I am wary of blundering into a new space and ignoring its norms. On the other hand, I’m leery of putting CWs on all discussions of mental illness and related issues. It fights with my desire to de-stigmatize that topic. Yet some here seem to prefer CWs on all such discussions. Thoughts?

@Popehat I'm a newbie too, but I have always been open about my mental health issues. Not so much for the destigmatize, but so that people know there are others like them. As well, there is a culture of blocking here.
