My hope for 2023 is that this will be the year when people start following the advice of the National Institute of Standards and Technology that:
"12 a.m. and 12 p.m. are ambiguous and should not be used"
Everytime you break this rule, a kitten cries.

@Robminchin Interesting factoid: the railroads had such difficulty with this, that FRA regulations prohibit any train order or schedule from including "12:00." A train warrant (a dispatcher's order giving a train the right to operate over some section of track) that would otherwise include 12:00 noon will instead be issued for 12:01pm
