Your watchlist of individual accounts is the most granular option, but beyond that you only have your local instance and global federated feed.

I think it might be good to have an option for subscribed servers. You know, a bunch of servers you appreciate the aesthetic of but don't want to sub to every user these individually. Make a custom feed of instances. A alliance feed?
