It'd be kind of nice if Mastodon let you bookmark statuses. It'd be handy for situations where someone posts a link, so that you could read it later and respond back to the original status.

Yes, #mastalab has #bookmarking feature, but being also a #multiidentity app, it is just as annoying as useful, lacking the essential long-press to select which account to bookmark it to.
I have now so many #bookmarks in the wrong accounts that I never expect the bookmark list to be very useful. I keep bookmarking, but in practise "never" actually use them.

@ZeniorXV have you looked at #Zotero? My wife used it to track references for her PhD, so it might be overpowered for what you need, but it's #FreeCode and has integrations with browsers etc. It also has link sharing features, so it could be useful in developing federated social bookmarking @deejoe @deadsuperhero @tom79 @ConnyDuck @arteteco
