What distro would you recommend for someone new to linux to install?

Musts:
easy install process,
accessible truly easy to use desktop,
sensible defaults,
runs really well on low-end hardware,
easy for Linux noobs to get help (support, forums, docs etc)

And the same question for android roms although I'm assuming the answer is Lineage
