An update on my small group trying to push for #environmentally friendly practices in my area

It is a nightmare. We had a lot of ideas and projects, which I talked about in another post, and right now we had to go through 3 meetings, have been insulted and are facing a lot of irrational, angry resistance for just proposing to do a 200 liters bin for the kitchen scraps in a leftist, squatted social center.

I'm not sure if being more annoyed to the irrational resistance or to the people that, by supporting the idea, are actively keeping us going there to discuss it... again... and again... and again... since one month and counting.

If their point is draining us of any enthusiasm, it's working like a charm.

@arteteco sounds like there's too many chefs in the kitchen

Well, they look for unanimous consensus, but should have the members trained for a quick and rational decision making process imo... what I witnessed was madness, not just on my case, but even for more trivial stuff like fixing a broken window.

Makes me wonder how efficient this kind of governance is...
