The whole time during the conference I kept this idiom in mind

> "can’t see the forest for the tree".

Just because you preach one project to be open source, does not mean your whole tech stack vel life has to be pure open source.

There are many levels of gray between purest and proprietary technology lobbyists. The attention towards the importance of while implementing to the best of one's capabilities in one's current circumstances, should be considered a win.

Incremental changes over undefined amount of time is where the fruit of change exists and persists.
