@SanGasso These are certainly different types of #socialmedia platforms.
I have found personally that interactions on #Mastodon are greater than on #Twitter.
The 'general #culture' here seems helpful and I have not had any bad experiences so far.
For me it took time getting used to #Mastodon but I have found the effort was certainly worth it.
Indeed, and that i guess is because the binding element is human interaction and not the algorithms governing the communication…

@bibliolater I find good interactions here too, not many but better than the bird. But I guess what I realized is that in the last 2-3 years the user experience in tw has deteriorated significantly including interactions. By contrast #mastodon is a nice refresher of what it used to be over there. Here it is still in development but there is also that feeling of meeting new people and discovering that has been lost lately.
