Back in the days of W, I was in a debate with some young, well intentioned people I knew.
They wanted to know why I couldn't stand W. "Well, for one thing, all the lying."
"What lying?"
"W said he'd fire anyone who had any role in outing CIA operative Valerie Plame. It came out this week that Karl Rove did and W is refusing to fire him."
"Who is Karl Rove?"
"W's Deputy Chief of Staff?"
"Never heard of him."
