@bibliolater @psychology @bookstodon Maybe "navigating your life more successfully" is the culprit? The question seems to remain "how", when the real issue might be "why". Why on earth should I seek to feel myself as a success-story, aking to some egoistic enterprises?

But an interesting reminder of a content, almost none of which is available OA.

The ego is by definition a feeling of your own importance and ability, anything that increases those feelings whether based in reality or conspiracy theories will always be attractive.

As you rightly note, the book is not open access.
