Aha, so Rachel Reeves seems to have realised that dealing with Trump might be a little more difficult than initially assumed & is pivoting towards the EU.
'I understand why there's so much focus on our trading relationship with the US but actually our trading relationship with Europe is arguably even more important, because they're our nearest neighbours & trading partners'.
An outbreak of good sense in No.11 or just more declaratory politics... we'll see.
