🇺🇸 **The federal minimum wage is officially a poverty wage in 2025**
“_The annual earnings of a single adult working full-time, year-round at $7.25 an hour now fall below the poverty threshold of $15,650 (established by the Department of Health and Human Services guidelines)._”

The equation is between keeping the minimum wage at the same rate or a cut in corporate profits. In such a case, which do you think is more likely?
It's all dependent upon politicians, corporate leaders and the Elites. They can say what they want but the vast majority don't care about the average person. Would be good to see an increase at the Federal level versus the state levels only.

Congress doesn't care. Doubt that Trump cares, but we'll see. Most of the Elites don't care, probably most companies and CEOs don't care, doubt that many in the media care either.
I remember back in 2011-2013, some of my black friends were saying "Obama's gonna change that! He's got to!" Haven't heard anything since then. Obama did nothing. Congress did nothing. Trump did nothing. Biden did nothing.
Minimum wage should be $9-11 an hour for beginning teenage employees, $12-17 for adults, $18-25 for adults with some experience, $25-30+ for adults with 10+ years of experience.
Those against a raise in the minimum wage are stupid. Just like shipping companies and jobs out of the country.
Keep in mind that many of those out there want slavery again, and they don't want you to do better, want you to remain on government handouts (which is ridiculous, unproductive and unsustainable) and many want to keep you poor.
Also keep in mind that most of the billionaires line up with Democrats and they've all kept us poorer.
