Yes, I do believe our old friends violence, revolt and disorder are necessary in finding a solution to corrupt governance.

@namark can I help you with something? Please tell me more about this opinion of yours, I’m all ears.
@binsrc fuck me it is then...
help? I might need some with geometric algebra, if you are so inclined.
@namark so I said “I do believe” when I should have said “in my opinion”, which appeared in your federated timeline, and it’s upset you. Is that correct? I’m genuinely sorry if I offended you, hopefully I can choose better words in the future, ok.
@binsrc Not offended, I follow qoto's local timeline and randomly reply to things that get me thinking.
If my snark offended you, my apologies, I just assumed I can get a bit loose with someone who calls violence and disorder old friends :D
What you wrote is correct to be called a belief in my understanding. Regardless, my comment would have been the same. It is weak because you'll have to abandon it the moment said disorderly violence is directed towards you, for no particular reason.
@namark no I’m not offended. Are we having a moment?
Revolution is not peaceful. Curbing free speech on the basis of national security while denying scientific evidence is oppressive. Australian policy makers have a clear agenda to undermine any form of organized dissent under the guise of national security and that’s a calamity worthy of revolt, dissent and violence. This country passed laws making it illegal for software vendors not to break encryption if requested.
@binsrc Well my argument was pretty much hinged upon disorderly, so I can't maintain it if we are talking about some kind of organized opposition. In that context I'm inclined to believe that more organized people are less violence will be necessary.
@binsrc ummm... it's not a belief though it's an opinion... perhaps you meant to say "if that's your opinion, fuck you"?
