@thor scandinavians seem to produce things of high quality imho.

most exports from other countries (really almost every country) have more depth than many german things, we too often just do things with cheap humor and romantic comedies (i _hate_ romantic comedy).

even our police series are 90% bad puns. i think the last good german produced movie i watched was the downfall. everything else is usually just awfully mediocre in every sense :)
