@bonifartius many dont know that areas get reclassified after a fire and can loose the Nature 2000 label which is a reason for farmers protests.
Some nice fires can push decrees far away...

@CapitalB that indeed makes sense, only that farmers usually live near there and out of control fires could burn their homes too.. russian space lasers are the better explanation! :D
