@bonifartius Very logical speech. It must be directed to the rest of the world rather than Davos, since talking about libertarianism to the WEF is like preaching to the devil.

@genmaicha the speech is good yes. i honestly don't know what to think about him though. stuff like this speech is _too good_ to the point that it's uncanny.

@bonifartius uncanny in what sense? do you think it's a deliberate attempt to mess with people, like Milei is controlled opposition?

@genmaicha well, it's kind of weird that an organization like the wef, which is a private club, has him speaking and the speech isn't cut off by "technical issues" when he directly attacks the people there.

i really don't know anymore. could be real, could be controlled opposition, could be some complete unrelated agenda.

i had the though that maybe putting him there and doing these speeches is a kind of preparation for takeover by globalist corporations. note the part of his speech about monopolies. he's right that viewing them as market flaws is probably wrong, but it has a _weird vibe_.

The theme of the 2024 summit is "rebuilding trust":

>Rebuilding trust in our future is paramount. The question is where to start, given today’s complex circumstances.

It could be that they let Milei speak in order to throw a bone to people who are suspicious to the WEF. Or it could be that the WEF are trying to change their image by using the language of freedom, since they saw that using technocratic language caused backlash and mistrust.
