Since 2008, German Times announced this, we had kind a same media change, maybe more extrem than overseas, to a state, where they try to test aggressively how far they are to control the opinion by stories, not news and backgrounds.
They started slightly to implement narratives - fact checkers have been earlier a very important part in that play; like a pusher.

They are afraid of something different from their story. They had run far with that tails so far.
