socialism (or however one wants to call it) can only work by using violence to force individuals to participate and history has proven it time after time. the whole theory talks about dictatorship of the proletariat before in some distant future paradise on earth emerges.
@bt444 tribal societies are going to be pretty oppressive to anyone not doing as told. in their case it might be out of necessity for survival. tribal societies are very different in any case and can't be compared to modern technologically advanced societies with population in the millions.
i have no idea how you arrive at the opinion that socialism and marxism are different.
they all are collectivist. they all will turn into death camps and terror as they always have.
