@ThatCrazyDude jalapeno, standard and habanero are good, chipotle is meh, don't know about scorpion. probably "just hot".
@ThatCrazyDude @bonifartius the small Tabasco products usually come in the little colored boxes. As as far back as I can remember. I'll get some from my stash and take a picture.
@SirBlackthorne @bonifartius that's exactly what I'm usually buying in my local supermarket. They also have that green jalapeno stuff, but that's about it
@ThatCrazyDude the habanero sauce is mixed with some fruit stuff (mango or something) so it's not just hot :)
@bonifartius oh dude! I never tried Tabasco branded habanero sauce, but I can tell you that mango with habanero is a fuckin' amazing combination. Kinda expensive to whip up at home because good mangos are real pricey around here, but it's well worth it
@ThatCrazyDude i'd say you like the tabasco habanero sauce then ;)
@bonifartius I have no doubt, since every single time I manage to score mango habanero sauce I'm fuckin' extatic. That being said tho, something tells me that blending like 5 kilos of mangos with half a habanero pepper would be way cheaper and even better since you don't need to have vinegar in the stuff.
The only question is how would you make it last, because that's the amount you'd be struggling to eat within a decade 🤣
@bonifartius I grew the Trinidad scorpion a few times and I must say it does have a distinctive flavor of it's own. It's just that it's so damn hot that if you'll overuse it, which you're likely to do, all you'll taste is pain. Same deal with bhut jolokia, real habanero and all the rest of them weapons grade peppers
