- tired: finally for a good reason!
- wants to stay home: ✅
- can cook: ✅ ✅
- childless: not anymore!
- "my boobs aren't thaat big": not nearly enough!
- "i'm too old for this": nope!
- watches you make mistakes she made years ago: can teach kids better!
- wasted her life on her job: not anymore!
- "the house is a disaster": valid excuse provided!

@Suiseiseki @hfaust RMS has very smart ideas he comes up with himself with regard to software and technology but unfortunately tends to copy very stupid ideas from others when it comes to social issues.

RMS created and defended free software by sheer will of mind, this equally applies to relationships and family. it's not easy, it's probably the hardest one can do if one wants to do it right. divorces are too easy now, they should be for grave missteps like adultery and violence, not for late regrets. marry someone and have kids. man up and and be a good husband and father. that's the reward.

in RMS defense, if he was sure that it's not for him it's a fine decision, but it's very mistaken to take this as guidance. the sane part of his writings ends here: "I am convinced I made a wise personal decision in avoiding this."

most will not be creating something like free software. most will be "consoomers" for 3-4 decades instead. i've watched this play out in real life. some people correctly choose to not have kids, but it's maybe 1/5 of cases at best from my judgement. better make sure you have a real philosophically valid purpose in life.

(NB: it's pretty easy for a man to write about not having kids being virtuous, RMS could easily still have some)
