@AndrewFork watched a bunch of music videos from the 70s this evening. pretty comfy compared to almost everything from 2000 onwards, which is either sinister or degenerate (and i'm applying this label very cautious, i have a pretty high tolerance for weird shit).
@AndrewFork
steely dan ptsd :D
guess good music is good :)
@AndrewFork a good example for sinister and degenerate, especially in retrospective and how she was treated, is britney spears.
@bonifartius@qoto.org
I wouldn't know, really, I avoid most things American and try to forget whatever I absorbed through osmosis...
I know we are both grown men, you more than me probably, but if you want a escape from degeneracy, Japanese music is whatever Deutsche term you can think of for "blissful art".
@bonifartius@qoto.org honestly yeah, my dad gave me old music ptsd but it is lovely no doubt, I kinda wish music wasn't "themed" just make stuff that's nice and feels good. It's why I mostly listen to romantic music, there's no ideological or cultural bias in there, not enough to stand out at least. Unless you go for the very low negro music.
