The separarion of munition and assault rifles in Switzerland prevented a lot of domestic violence homicides.
Guns dont prevent deaths. The prevent violence in general. And breakins, robberies etc.
And femicide is an invented word without any meaning. In almost any stat there are more violent men deaths than women. This word should never be used.

don't reservists in CH have five cartridges at home, or got the rules changed?
i knew multiple women who didn't go to the cops despite being beat up all the time. even when offered help. you can't prevent the self inflicted mind rot.
you CAN prevent the women who don't accept getting beaten from getting beaten by giving them proper means of self defense. it's not like you need some magnum load for this.

Honestly, prison in case your rifle is being stolen is a headache we all are glad it is gone. In 20ies, you can put it into parents' home too. Nobody knows.
But it was cool indeed to show that thing to Foreigners who visited. They went bonkers when they got that I had it laying around under the bed. Where else? Basement too humid, roof too insecure.
