I am trying to get out of #Signal customer support an answer as to why one of my linux desktop apps on one machine does not synchronise when the others do and the machines all use precisely identical setups via a nixos flake. All I get is automatic answers which miss the point. The joke is I voluntarily pay monthly & have done for years & somehow ... edit: assistance delivered! see comment post below

@adingbatponder i was forced to re-authenticate some of my signal apps a while ago - still not quite sure why - i think perhaps an IP address change, or possibly running several different versions. ok again now.
