Sadly, they do matter - and we'd be well advised to keep track of them.
Might have to post this from Sun Tzu on my profile:
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I won't argue, but in my 70 years on this planet I've learned that the 'marginalized' ones tend to end up invisible.
We can't let that happen.
@cajun_cheechako @CarlosEGates marginalized is a word with no intrinsic velocity w judgement. It simply means that the consensus group has judged the attitudes or opinions as irrelevant to the main cultural coversationsn. In example such as racism, sexism. Homophobia, I consider it a good thing that there attitudes have been marginalized. .
@cajun_cheechako @CarlosEGates dismissing them in such a way as to make a statement of their value (or lack thereof)as human beings does not preclude hainf knowledge of…being aware of…them
