For those wondering when this fix will make it in to Pinafore stable, there are still some small bugs to iron out, so it's not quite ready for prime time. But you can play with it at https://dev.pinafore.social in the meantime.
Also my MacBook died today, so it may be awhile till I can get around to it. 😢 Taking a trip to the Apple store today, and using a cheap backup Ubuntu laptop in the meantime...
@nolan I hate Apple for that very reason. They don't want their customers repairing their own stuff.

Well. Nit necesarily expensive means better quality. There are great hardware solution that are chep but offer a hreat quality for the price. (Like the ryzen processors or the poco phone f1 of xiaomi for example!

Because the surface is cheap and have a cute design? The people tend to use their sense and emotiins only when they shop instead of their logic and iintelligence. It's sad but it's a reality.
