That song by Aerosmith from the movie where Bruce Willis blows up that asteroid to save earth is the most well known lullaby of the past 50 years.

@chattwjonathan I'm having trouble placing that song. Is it "Dream on" or something else?

When Armageddon came out, I was a preteen I believed it was a slow-dance romantic song to do the middle school sway to.

As an adult with 2 young children, the song is about putting a baby to sleep and savoring the moment as it passes. It was written by Steven Tyler to his daughter Liv, who is Bruce Willis's daughter in the movie.

@chattwjonathan Thanks for this. The official song video is woven into the film. I experience this as a love song in that framing. I confess that I don't remember the film and the music. youtu.be/JkK8g6FMEXE
