@freemo I'm having issues making account on qoto Peertube server. The verification mail came slow (maybe after 15 minutes). Uploading a video results in "Your video quota is exceeded with this video (video size: 394 MB, used: 0 B, quota: 0 B)". Could you check if something is wrong? Also, is there a qoto room on Matrix yet? It would be nice to have for discussion about the services.

@cos Thats normal, no one has a video quota until they get authorization from a moderator to ensure only QOTO users have accounts and to ensure no one steals a QOTO users username on peertube. Also to ensure new users know the rules and dont abuse the server.
Presuming you've read the rules I'd be happy to give you a quota just need to know your username.
@freemo Ok I read the rules and they require STEM or OS content. My content will be quite random so I suppose I'll need to find another instance. Thanks anyway.
@cos Where do the rules state your content needs to be exclusive STEM or OS? We require you to be in STEM or to be a STEM enthusiast but we explicitly state in the rules that your content does not need to be exclusively STEM.

@cos Done you have a 20GB quota. If you use that up just ask me I can and usually will increase it.

@cos Oh you meant on peertube, sorry thought you meant QOTO.. Strictly speaking its for STEM content yes, however if you are an active user here on the social media side, and if your content is copyright infringement or something we find objectionable (we will let you know) we tend to look the other way. So you should be ok within reason.
Havent had to censor anyones content on peertube yet who was a member over here.
