🇫🇮 In Finnish, this phenomenon is called revontulet, which means “fox fires”. In other countries it is known as the Northern Lights or the Aurora Borealis, the northern dawn. The Aurora season begins in Finnish Lapland as soon as the nights start becoming colder – this far north, that’s at the end of August.
