Like #SARSCoV2 before it, #H5N1 is also finding farmed mink to be a welcoming host.
"In Spain, the virus appeared to spread from mink to mink. It also contained an unusual mutation that might be a sign of adaptation to mammals, scientists reported in a recent paper in the journal Eurosurveillance."

@cyrilpedia @n8_upham Maybe—and hear me out for a second—we shouldn’t be farming animals for their fur? 🤔
@busybee @cyrilpedia Yeah amen to that, seems pretty clear that the costs outweigh any benefits of soft warm clothing, and that's before considering the animal suffering part

Well humans are mammals. And in that farm the workers had to wear masks 😷 So masks work. Non of the workers got infected.
And that should be the title of this article: Masks work. 😀😷👍
Masks will prevent pandemics. please continue wearing them. Stay healthy. Being sick is not fun. Sick workers are expensive. Economy loves healthy fit workers 😀👍
