@cyrilpedia - somehow I feel emotionally attached to this older generation of scientists. There is excellent science done these days, too, but these old school scientists used to permeate such elegance and joy about their endeavors and their work was much more than just a list of publications, grants, and recognitions, it was about real discovery. Too little is talked about their legacy. We constantly want new and more and we forget what was before.
