"Here, we present our view of how IL-2-based biologicals can boost the antitumor response at a cellular level, and propose that the role of Tregs following such treatments may have been previously overestimated."

@gpollara @cyrilpedia Well...trials so far have shown: big toxicity, limited clinical effects and some suggest an increase in inhibitory Tregs...why there are modified IL-2 therapies around to limit toxic and Treg induction...to be continued #Immunotherapy #immunology #cytokines
@halama_immuno @cyrilpedia thank you. Love the expression 'to be continued'! Should be final line of all our papers!
@cyrilpedia an interesting idea, but personally, I think there's going to be way too small a therapeutic window to use IL-2 based therapies in a useful way. So ubiquitous and if it's function is so concentration dependent, then local tissue concentrations etc... will have big effect on function. Happy to be proved wrong!
