I wonder if Apple will make a #VisionPro app for use during #WWDC that has spatial streaming, multiple windows (like speaker & slides) and some surprising innovations. I would hope...
@danb @billseitz
I think Apple is unsure how to market the “intensity” of the user experience, and that lack of clarity is holding them back.
So, the demos remain soul-crushing use cases of immersive knowledge work (i.e. things you do with an Excel spreadsheet in a cubicle).
@paninid @billseitz Yes. Apple will have to experiment, with different approaches for different people. I find the "Experience Immersive" short video to be a great demo of one aspect to show people. However, some of the best demos for me are my own photos/videos taken the last couple of months. (I went on a tour of Costa Rica in early February knowing a #VisionPro would be awaiting me when I returned, and took panoramas, spatial video, and GoPro for it.) Needing your own content is a demo issue. (More some other time about productivity uses. For number-oriented people, Excel can be soul-expanding....)
@paninid @billseitz No offense taken... Spreadsheets are not something to try to sell #VisionPro to most of those who walk into an Apple Store.
Hmm. #EdTech. That's interesting. At current price point, could be good as you point out for training since it's so immersive.
