Been wanting to watch The Guard ((2011) for years, finally got round to it. Excellent black comedy set in West of Ireland. In Bruges, by the other McDonagh brother, is better known, but this is Brendan Gleeson - always fantastic.

@ukplissken I love the ambiguous ending. Although I'm assuming the song over the titles, Wendell's grin and the dialogue in the cafe explains his fate.
@davoloid The amusing thing for me personally is that I was working for the Gardai in Ireland at the time. As a couple of them said “bits of that are closer to a documentary than you think”.
@davoloid I absolutely love that film. The dialogue is to completely die for.
