I know someone who runs a regular #FolkDance weekend. There's an even wider set of traditional local styles being enjoyed in every town, saved in the 20th century by historians and enthusiasts, revived for the 21st by those looking to rediscover and celebrate English culture. Northumberland Rapper is one of the most spectacular forms, shown here by the Sheffield Steel team and London based Thrales Rapper.
@davoloid What does that have to do with Mat... oh! That's really blummin' clever.
@Cougar It's that combination of moves that impresses me, think one of the people I met from a Warwick Uni team said there's an element of knot and graph theory when they make up new dances.
Sent myself down a rabbit hole now, but how many of you maths geeks have seen this?
