It's time to revisit my feelings on BREXIT.

After reviewing the current situation i can confirm, I'm still livid about it. It's still, no even more, stupid, has no benefitsand was sold on lies.

@chrisgerhard I still feel anger, but I've come to believe that it was the only thing that was going to rid the UK of the notion that we were still an Empire.

Secondly, I don't doubt it was encouraged by Putin as a way to destabilise Europe and detract from his own decaying Empire. But actually, it's reinforced how essential that community is, for all its faults and petty arguments, now amplifiied by the Ukraine invasion.

I think it's symbolic that tonight's is hosted/held by two countries at the extremes of Europe*, one seeking to join, the other desperate to understand why it left.
