(We’re clearing out at least 30 years’ worth of accumulated cabling under a datacentre raised floor. Lots of voice copper, co-ax (voice and Ethernet), serial cables and even some AppleTalk!)

@WiteWulf Very similar to machine rooms here, especially where they are shared between several Departments, central services.
Caution: It's also alarming when you consider the poles that hold the floor up, and that they were rated for 1994 computing infrastructure. Take too many squares out at once and the sheer strength could be compromised by a room full of 42U racks.
