@freeschool Maybe a watering trough for animals for a catchment or cistern? One challenge is keeping stuff out of the water as it sits- need to have lids or some kind of covering.

@dclr42 I dislike pipes that are permanent, too hidden and have-to-destroy-stuff to access them!
Also for PVC being main component.

Working on rain water harvesting in a crude sense outside somehow...
Old buckets maybe with portable big flange-funnel to increase catchment diameter (could be sheet metal collar like a funnel) and buckets from painter man come clean and in ample supply to reuse... so maybe buckets...
Any ideas?
Metal guttering I suppose is good for run-off and catching in bucket or bigger container... hmm plastics
