Steam has informed me that I have spent 66.6 hours practicing the guitar! 🤘

I spaced out while practicing today and my had just... sorta did the right thing for a few seconds. It was a very wild feeling!

I feel like I just might be able to play a song eventually

@rgegriff but can you play "smoke in the water" tho'?

@deesapoetra no, that's DLC in the guitar tutor software I'm using. I can sorta play some fun parts of "Ritual" by Ghost, tho. So that's kinda fun.

@rgegriff i can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.
:ablobowo:
"Smoke on the water" is a such a huge memes for guitar player. :ablobowo:

@rgegriff have you ever played a real guitar before ?
I could recommend some cool songs.

@deesapoetra I tried YEARS ago in HS, but I was poor, so I tried to learn from a book that tried to teach "On top of old Smokey" and other folk songs; which edgy highschool me totally bounced off of.

I just picked it up again to have a pandemic hobby, so I am totally down to learn whatever is fun to play.

@rgegriff
Nice!
Here's some suggestion.
- Hotel california. It's intimidating at first but trust me the pattern is easy to learn.
- Comfortably numb by pink floyd was easy. The vibrato maybe the hardest part.
- canon in d. It's a must!
