@dev_Paul @derickflorian I'm using Gboard and it doesn't seem to support it. Just says "mastodon doesn't support image insertion here"
@NZCharlie @dev_Paul I wonder if it’s something that would need to be configured on your mastodon.nz issues. I know the I'm on has some extra features the maintainers added like support for hosting videos. That is just a guess though.

I just tried it on Firefox (on my phone) and got the same message you did.
So I assume it's only supported on the app?

The Google keyboard has GIF's integrated and that's how I use it.
If you're on the web you have to download the GIF to your laptop. Then attach it like a pic.
