A quick summary of a land mine that the #RaspberryPi org seemingly willingly stepped on. They made a new hire of a former policeman with a history as a maker of spying devices and some people became upset and said things. They doubled down on the controversy by mocking and/or blocking anyone who had anything negative to say. Unclear what they could have done after the hiring has already publicized, but surely the only social response should not be to dismiss valid concerns of their community.
