I have been here for less than a month, but it's been great fun. The intellectual stimulation from all the random content and discussions we get involved in, wonderful.
Facebook is a repetitive, annoying place. Twitter has more random content, but also a big number of nasties acting there, including paid troll farms, some abroad.
I imagine there's probably some in the US as well, it would be a great way to create employment in the dispossessed regions in mid country.

Nice job on the user profile. A suggestion, feel free to hit Enter a couple of times and create a paragraph break anytime you want -- Unlike FB, it will not send the message away.
