Hoover was apparently a very competent Engineer, with international experience, but the situation he received was mind boggling and very difficult to handle; specially when the man in charge is tied to a conservative, plutocratic party.

True also that the choices of possible electable leaders are not great; the disaster who is in charge now, or an uninspiring democrat. Sadly their good candidates fell along the way.

I would like to see Elizabeth Warren, if she could get the VP position at least that would give people hope and a reason for progressive people to vote on that ticket.
